KAMALAMBIGAI SIVARATNAM Peacefully on Monday, December 18, 2000, age 66 years passed away surrounded by her family at St. Boniface Hospital. Kamala was predeceased by her husband Siva in May 1988 and her parents, Rajamani and Thangavelu. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Kumudhini (Karunakaran), Shivanthi (Raveendrabose), Subi (Kathir) grandchildren, Ranish, Shivram, Pravin, Deepa and Ashvin; brothers, Toni, Moorthy and Anthony; sisters, Meenambigai, Soranambigai, Saroja, Vijayalakshmi and Indrani. She is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins who mourn her loss. Kamala retired after a long and successful career with the Department of Agriculture, Government of Sri Lanka. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 23 at 1:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley St. We would like to thank CancerCare Manitoba at St. Boniface Hospital, the doctors and staff at the Medical College of Ohio Hospital, especially Dr. J. Fanning, V.O.N. for their dedication and care and the staff at the Palliative care unit at St. Boniface Hospital who made our mothers short stay there a peaceful one.
